With an auction closing rate of over 70%, fresh machines are brought to our yard every week. These machines are collected from all over Japan, and the number of machines we handle is increasing year by year. Recently our auction handles over 1,500 machines per week.

Base Overseas
Starting in 2024, Arai Auction Machinery and Motorcycle, in collaboration with our group company Arai Logistics Co., Ltd., will provide a bidding system called Arai Logi.Net. This system is designed for overseas clients interested in bidding on and purchasing machinery from Arai Auction. Overseas clients can join the Arai Logi.Net membership to participate in real-time bidding or join Arai Auction Machinery and Motorcycle events online.
However, please note that Arai Logi.Net is not available for Van and Truck or Passenger Car auctions.

Before Auction

Carry-in
Vehicles (machinery) will be delivered to the handling venue or yard by the delivery date set by each auction.

Test
Arai Auction inspectors conduct fair inspections according to the inspection regulations for each vehicle.
We will photograph the exterior and interior of the exhibited vehicle (machine), as well as various angles and important parts.

Photograph
Register inspection details and images of exhibited vehicles (machines) in the database. Vehicle information can be checked 24 hours a day from Arai Logi.Net.

Data Upload
Exhibit machinery will be carefully stored at the venue, and you can preview the photos and condition report on our website, Arai Logi.Net.

By logging onto the Arai Logi.Net, you can participate in the Arai Auction Machinery and Motorcycle every Tuesday.

Four-lane auctions are held at the same time, and each auction progressed at a speed of 20 to 60 seconds.
You can set up the proxy bid on Monday in advance if you cannot participate in the real-time.

Calculate
After an auction, you will receive an export plan from our logistics team. You will receive the proforma invoice once you have confirmed the export plan.

Payment
The payment must be made via telegraphic transfer (T/T) in Japanese Yen within 7 days, including the auction day.
Your shipment will be booked after we confirm the payment. We will inform you of the shipping schedule via email when it is confirmed.

Auction Fees
When you bid with us, there is no bidding fee. You will only be charged if you win the bid. There will be a successful bid fee, which will vary depending on the category and size of the machinery, and a handling fee (5% of Your Bidding Price) will be charged for all winning units.

I do not have machinery importing experience. Can I apply the membership?Yes. Only one note that a security deposit of 500,000 Yen might be required for first-time importers of used machinery from Japan.

What is the process after I won the machine?Our Logistics team will contact you to arrange the shipment. After that you will receive the proforma invoice to make the payment. When we can confirm your payment, your shipment will be booked. We will inform you of the shipping schedule via email when it is confirmed.

How can I join the bidding from oversea?You need to register as a member first. What kind of auction are able to participate from overseas?Overseas member can participate the Arai Auctions Motorcycle and Machinery Auction only, the rest of auction such as Truck Auction, Passenger Vehicle Auction are not able to join by overseas members at this moment.

How can I calculate the total price for a winning machine?Besides your "Winning Bid Price", there will be "A Successful Bid Fee" which will vary depending on the category and size of the machinery, and "A Handling Fee" will be charged for all winning units. Please kindly note that starting from 1st July 2025, the handling fee will be the 5 % of your winning bid price.

Can overseas clients participate in the Van & Truck Auctions?Overseas clients can only participate in the Used Machinery Auctions through Arai Logi Net. The Van & Truck Auctions are only available to members residing in Japan.

I want to know the shipping method and shipping fees.We offer ocean transport in shipping terms both CIF and FOB. Also Container ships as well as Roll-on/roll-off (RORO). Shipping fee depends on destination. Please contact us.

How to bid the machine?There are three ways to bid. 1. Proxy bid (set up the proxy bid on Monday from 12:00 at noon Japan time in advance if you cannot participate in the real-time) 2. Real-time bid (join via our platform called "ARAI LOGI NET" to bid real time) 3. Negotiation (unsold machine during auction as your 2nd chance)

What are the conditions for membership application?To apply for membership, the following conditions must be met: 1. Company Eligibility: The applicant must be a company, not an individual. A copy of the company registration must be provided as part of the application. 2. Payment Ability: The company must be able to make a Telegraphic Transfer (T.T.) payment within 7 days after the auction. 3. Location Restrictions: The company must not be located in countries and regions under the United Nations Arms Embargo or in countries that are under international sanctions or conflicts.

How long does the application process takes?It will take two to three weeks to complete an examination of a membership application.

When will the Arai Auction Motorcycle and Machinery Auction will be held?We hold auction every Tuesday starting from 10:00 AM Japan time for motorcycle auction, and 11:00 AM Japan Time for used machinery auction.

Can I register as an individual? It means that I do not establish/have company in my country.We provide corporate membership (B2B) to all oversea customers so that if you do not establish/have the company, you are not able to register as our member.

Are there any countries from which membership applications are not accepted?Yes, membership applications are not accepted from: 1. Countries and regions under the United Nations Arms Embargo, which include: Afghanistan, Central Africa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan. 2. Countries under international sanctions or conflicts, which include: Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela, Sudan, Yemen, and other regions facing international sanctions or active conflicts that affect financial transactions. 3. Countries that do not support Telegraphic Transfer (T.T.) payments, as it is the only payment method we accept.
